Formation
Thursday 21st November 1929 in the former dance hall premises now on Saughtonhall Drive.

The dedication service took place on Friday 22 November at 7.30 pm at which Revd Dr. John  Safely, President of the Congregational Union preached the sermon
Latin inscription over the door – Nisi Dominus in Vanum ("without the Lord (we labour) in vain" (the opening words of Psalm 126).

Two brass plates were affixed on walls in Chancel
Hebrew -  Reverence for God is beginning of Wisdom
Greek – Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and for ever.

Current Church

Completed in 1995 following a fire in 1993 in old hall and problems with old church building
