Currently we are on summer holiday. We meet again Wednesday 25th August from 6.00pm We have a few vacancies for Explorers (P1-P3) and you will be most welcome to join us. Next year promises to be a very exciting one, with plans for a show, a special sleep-over and much more.

Annual Display
The annual display on 2nd June marked the end of our 2009-2010 year.

We were delighted so many parents, family members and friends were able to join us for our display evening. This included prize giving was by the local children’s author Corinne Dobbie (photo below right) and a display of some of our new skills, including drumming and Bollywood dancing taught by Shumaila (bottom right) the evening. In addition we had a look back on some of the fun filled events of the last 12 months. See more>>

Sleeping Over with Chimps- When we raised nearly £5,000 for the Edinburgh camp house refurbishment project when a group of us slept over with the chimps at Edinburgh Zoo, click here,

Theatre visits, We went to the Edinburgh Play house to see Walt Disney’s touring live production of Beauty and the Beast, and met some of the cast after the show . Also the Saughtonhall Drama Pantomime Aladdin where we knew a number of the cast..

Camping, the juniors and the DofE groups attended a camp at our Divisional camp house

About us

Our Company of the Girls Brigade has about 70 girls supported by 10 voluntary leaders serving the Saughtonhall and Murrayfield area of Edinburgh. The company meets on Wednesday evenings during term time in Saughtonhall Church, Saughtonhall Drive, Edinburgh.

> Explorers P1-P3 5.30 to 6.30 pm

> Juniors P4-P7 6.30 to 8.00 pm

> Brigaders S1 6.30 to 8.00 pm

S2-S6 6.30 to 8.30 pm
