The Murrayfield Local Ecumenical Project was formally constituted on 4th October 1987, but like many other developments of significance, its history did not start then.  Twenty years before, the ministers of Murrayfield Parish Church, the Church of the Good Shepherd and Saughtonhall Congregational Church decided to worship together on Good Friday and share the passion of Christ’s crucifixion. The project was renewed in 1994 & 2001 for seven year periods and again in 2008.

This year, our 23rd in partnership  we are continuing our support of the ECUDARE (Ecumenical Day Care) project in Kenya. 2 members of our church are due to visit the project this autumn. For all the news about Ecudare click here >>
